Glenda Jackson, Hampstead and Kilburn
Glenda Jackson has an excellent record of eighteen years’ service
as an MP. She has stood up for her constituents and voted for what she believes to be the right thing to do, often leading her to defy the whips in parliament.
Now she is fighting the influx of Tory money into Hampstead and Kilburn. Targeted mails and leaflets flood people’s hallways and billboard posters litter the constituency, much of it paid for centrally with support from Lord Ashcroft directing matters from Belize.
She has worked hard over the years on many London issues including improving transport in London and acting as a member of the GLA advisory cabinet for homelessness, which included holding surgeries for rough sleepers. She can only continue this good work if she is re-elected, but she also needs support to get her message across to constituents!
Please donate whatever you can to her campaign, and, remember, the David v Goliath candidate who receives the most individual donations receives a reward of £1000. So tell your friends and get donating!
